Reese is now in 1st grade. She is doing great! She still uses her walker, she has friends and she loves school! We couldn't ask for anything more! We went to California for an interview for a service dog. And while we were there...we stopped in at Sea World. In this last year, Reese has also started back at horseback riding at Urban Farm. She loves it. We also took her out on the hill for some skiing (she skied in between my legs). So... our next goal is to get her out there on the ski hill on a slider ski - so that she can do it by herself.
A goal that I have had for many years is to get her off her 'bottle' which is her formula (her protein without the bad stuff for her (lysine and tryptophan). So, 6 years later...we are going for it. We are on night 2. She is doing great. Now she will take a teaspoon of powder (her version of 'good' protein) per meal.
Lastly, starting to gear up for our 4th annual fundraiser to raise money for the clinic for special children in Lancaster, PA.
